About

Hamptons real estate is in Peter’s blood. A Southampton native with a heritage dating back to 1640 - Hallock settlers of the East End. Peter entered real estate in 1985 and has not looked back. Peter was President of Allan M. Schneider Associates and under his leadership, the business grew to become the undisputed leader in Hamptons real estate with 12 offices, 350 associates and over $1.2 billion in annual sales. In the summer of 2006, Realogy purchased Allan M. Schneider Associates which now operates under the Corcoran name. Peter maintains a select group of new and tenured clients, personally handling their high-end real estate needs. Prior to returning to the Hamptons Peter had a successful advertising career. His impressive client management work while at Ogilvy & Mather Direct helped usher in some of the now iconic consumer loyalty programs including those for Marriott Hotels, TWA, American Express and AT&T, quickly leading him to become senior vice president at Ketchum Direct. Peter maintains homes in Southampton, Manhattan and Malibu. Supporting causes, Peter feels, improves the quality of life in the Hamptons and giving back to the community is very important to Peter. He has been a fixture on the boards of key regional institutions including Southampton Hospital, Peconic Baykeeper, Southampton Historical Museum, Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation and the Village Improvement Association of Southampton. Bay Street Theatre has been of special interest to Peter, as a former board member and long-term supporter where he continues to champion their efforts to make the East End an important center for artists, writers and theatrical productions.
