James Coughlin

Jim Coughlin has enjoyed the Hamptons lifestyle for over two decades. He bought his first house in the area 18 years ago and is now on his third home where he lives with his wife full time. After 40 years on Wall Street, Jim decided to focus on a different but equally unique and appealing market – real estate. He works at Corcoran's Westhampton Beach office to serve many clients from his previous industry, as well as others looking to add a Hamptons home to their investment portfolio. Originally from Bayonne, NJ, Jim also lived in Ridgewood and Hoboken while working in Manhattan. He was previously a U.S. Treasury Securities Trader who primarily sold notes and bonds. Today Jim draws on his extensive financial expertise, personal experience in real estate, strong knowledge of the Hamptons market and large rolodex of contacts to optimize service for clients. Throughout his client-focused career, Jim has excelled at interacting with people and developing longstanding relationships. His market savvy is complemented by a genuinely dedicated approach to the business of meeting clients' needs in the most efficient and rewarding manner possible. Jim is the father of three grown children and the proud grandfather of two. In spare time you will most always find him on the golf course at Westhampton Country Club or fishing on the beach.
