Alfredo Barreto

Alfredo joined Saunders & Associates in January of 2015, becoming a member of Team Horcasitas upon receiving his real estate license. Alfredo attended College of the Desert, in California, where he earned an associate's degree in liberal arts. He also attended Texas A & M, where he earned a full scholarship to play NCAA Division 1 college tennis. For the past 14 years he has served as junior tennis director for high performance players at East Hampton Indoor Tennis, a position he continues to hold. In three years Alfredo has sold nearly $25 million in real estate, in East Hampton, Sag Harbor and Southampton, including a spectacular modern residence that sold for $20.5 million. The Horcasitas Team has been one of the top producers in the Hamptons real estate market for over 15 years. As a tennis instructor who plays with many highly accomplished and well known people, Alfredo finds that the interpersonal skills he uses in coaching high level tennis players translate well to his real estate business. Negotiation skills, understanding the needs of his tennis clients and what they are looking to accomplish in terms of their skill at the game are similar to understanding what his real estate customers are looking for in a home. A good listener, Alfredo tries to discover what people are looking for in a home or investment property and helps them find it, rather than trying to sell them a particular listing. Among his other skills, Alfredo is fluent in Spanish.
