Richard Baris

A licensed real estate professional for 15 years, Richard Baris joins Sotheby's International Realty as a top producing Hamptons agent. Richard has a laid back, professional style and he enjoys personal contact with people which helps him better understand exactly what a customer is looking for allowing him to best service clients' real estate needs. Rich's early career involved working for his family's lumber and demolition business which ultimately resulted in his creation of the successful Avalanche Wrecking Corp. Under his leadership, Avalanche helped transform the face of New York City in the 80s and 90s. Rich is joined at Sotheby's International Realty by his wife, Nola, and their daughter-in-law, Heather Baris, who, together, make up The Baris Team. A New Jersey native, Rich is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is also a US Army veteran.
