About
Debbie Kropf brings to Brown Harris Stevens an impressive history and a unique sensitivity to the needs of home buyers and sellers, developed over her thirty-plus year career in the field of architecture.
Debbie was educated at the University of California at Berkeley (Master of Architecture) and the University of Colorado at Boulder (Bachelor of Environmental Design) and began her career working for an architectural and planning firm, Speerplan GmbH, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The majority of the projects were in the site planning and housing design for new developments in the United Emirates. She then worked in San Francisco on large land planning projects with golf clubs, resort housing and five star hotels.
In 1994, Debbie moved to the east end of Long Island, focusing on residential renovations, additions and new construction. Awarded the 2004 Qualified Remodeler Master Design Award, Debbie has also provided architectural and construction management services for commercial projects such as the facade and interior renovation for the former Chelsea Fine Custom Kitchens' showroom in Southampton Village and the renovation of Marder's Barn on Main Street in Bridgehampton for the Hampton Library Temporary Library.
Debbie is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, American Institute of Architects, and serves as the Chairperson of the AIA Peconic Scholarship Committee. When not at work, Debbie enjoys the natural beauty of the east end and spending time with her three daughters.
As an architect, general contractor, and real estate salesperson, Debbie's extensive knowledge and experience is invaluable to her clients and customers and makes her uniquely qualified to market, list and sell properties throughout the Hamptons.
