About
With 30 years experience in design and marketing, Kari Catalano has worked with some of the nation's most distinguished companies and many of the Hamptons' most successful businesses and organizations.
An alumna of Parsons School of Design, Kari moved from Madison Avenue's Knoll Group to launch her own East Hampton design firm in 1991. Quickly landing the Bay Street Theater account, she grew her business over the next 25 years to include an impressive array of local and international clients, including real estate firms, architects, interior designers, landscape architects, education and arts entities, and a wide variety of clients in the hospitality industry.
An early art director of Hamptons Magazine, Kari’s long-term local client relationships include the Hamptons International Film Festival, Southampton Hospital and the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF).
Kari brings a unique skill set to her clients. She has a keen design aesthetic and architectural eye, as well as a long-held devotion to Long Island's East End and sustaining its unique and fragile environmental.
Kari is a passionate adventurer, camping in the Serengeti, scuba diving around New Zealand’s Poor Knights Islands, and snorkeling with whale sharks in La Paz. She brings the same tenacity and boundless energy to meet her clients' needs.
With family in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Boulder, Colorado, Kari has access to some of the most unique real estate markets in the U.S.
