Dana Trotter

With more than $3 billion in Hamptons real estate sales, Dana Trotter is one of the region’s most accomplished brokers. After 27 successful years with Sotheby’s International Realty, she joined The Agency in 2023 as a Franchise Partner to open The Agency Hamptons. Dana has been consistently ranked among the top agents nationwide by REAL Trends / The Wall Street Journal. In 2023, she partnered with Mauricio Umansky and Tyler Whitman to bring The Agency—named Top Luxury Brokerage by Inman—to the East End. Dana represents buyers and sellers across luxury homes, waterfront properties, land, investments, and rentals. Her clients value her experience, strategic guidance, and discretion. A graduate of C.W. Post with a background in professional equestrian competition, Dana remains active in the riding community and serves on the boards of CTREE and the Long Island University Veterinary School.
