Atterbury Hills, a private waterfront enclave just to the west of Southampton Village, was created in the early 20th century by Grosvenor Atterbury, one of the most influential architects of the burgeoning Hamptons scene. At a time when he could pick virtually any location for his family's country estate, Atterbury chose to call this lovely area home and to build a number of now-classic residences.
