Cathleen Dolson

A full-time, full-service residential specialist in Southold Township for over 19 years, Cathy Dolson enjoys a long following of repeat and referral clients who would use no one else for their real estate business. Her entry into the field came hand-in-hand with her moving to the area in 1993, where Cathy has enjoyed both a happy family life and successful career as a top producer in residential sales. This results-driven top producer has been part of several record transactions, and has specialized in all aspects of real estate - from waterfront properties, land and new construction to managing sub-divisions, even commercial transactions. Originally from Mount Sinai, Cathy got a taste of hard work age 12 helping in her father's insurance business. She ultimately was more interested in interior design, and was offered a scholarship to attend Parsons School of Design. Cathy was hired by her teacher to work on room layout for home models in Purchase, NY. She transitioned into the worlds of furniture design and structural engineering, plus ran her own interior design business, giving her invaluable experience and knowledge that's fueled her success in real estate. Married with two children, to whom she affectionately refers as her "Pride and Joys", Cathy, her family, her Pekinese Suzi,and Persian Zoe, live in Southold. They also own a home in Maine, near beautiful Baxter State Park and the Allagash wilderness. Cathy has a strong passion for nature, wildlife and preserving the environment. She also has an interest in geology, and gemology, and intends to start faceting gemstones. Cathy is also a painter whose preferred medium is water colors, and whose work has been both shown on Long Island in a jury of selection show and commissioned.
